the national gallery of art was a traditional style of museum. unlike the hirshhorn, there were no surprising exhibits. this is not to say that the art was not good or ugly... it just did not shock and/or surprise me. however i did like the orientalistic style pictures. they showed me another style and life culture in art as well as the world. i especially loved the tiger... i loved how it looked almost scared. i felt that the picture showed that home might always be safe... i also think that is NOT what the artist had in mind, i was very confused but liked it nevertheless.
